| We put the relationship between Food and Pharma on the agenda FPT '10 is a cross-border professional fair creating synergy between to related sectors. Pharma, health and food are fused with each other through terms like functional foods and health foods under the heading Life Science. The relationship between Food and Pharma is not just in uniform processes and manufacturing equipment. Extremely high requirements for the labelling of raw materials, inspection and quality control, inspection of manufactured products, inspection of the manufacturing environment, hygiene, cleaning, manufacturing equipment, traceability and documentation characterize both sectors. One solution lies in investing in hygienic design, where the hallmarks are ease of cleaning (CIP cleaning), resistance to wear, and resistance to corrosion and bacterial contamination. Product safety is an essential competition parameter. The topic "Product Safety" is supported by a working laboratory, demonstrations and surface testing, as well as seminars on hygienic design and testing methods of the future. |
